Product selection:
The comparator products were purchased on 21 July 2026 from the impulse frozen section at Centra, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin of the store and are representative of widely available branded frozen impulse products sold through Irish convenience retailers.

The products included:
• Magnum Classic – 110ml
• Solero Exotic – 90 ml
• Wall’s Minecraft Vanilla & Chocolate – 75ml
• forest. Organic Açaí Fruit Pop – 60ml

Evidence retained:
The substantiation file contains:
• Original purchase receipt.
• Front-of-pack photographs.
• Back-of-pack photographs showing the nutrition declaration.
• Nutrition information used to calculate and verify calorie comparisons.
• Ingredient lists for each product.

Basis of comparison:
All nutritional values were taken directly from the mandatory nutrition declaration displayed on the product packaging as purchased.

Unless otherwise stated, calorie comparisons are based on one complete product (per serving) using the nutrition information declared by each manufacturer on the product packaging. Ingredient comparisons are based on the same.
